L’Albergo Diffuso Bacco Furore su The Times

Furore is known as the “painted village” because of its jaunty murals, and this year the Ferraioli family added this “Painted Hotel”, as it translates, thoroughly modernising the nine rooms above the restaurant and getting local artists to paint murals in each. Murals not your thing? The family also have a seven-room albergo diffuso, or “scattered hotel”, with seven simpler rooms across two buildings 300m away — provided with breakfast in the restaurant, they are a great way to get the Baccofurore experience on a budget.
