Albergo Diffuso is two things at once.

Un autre type de structure hôtelière autrement plus intéressant se développe dans des petites villes ou villages : l’albergo diffuso. Ces établissements fonctionnent comme des hôtels (ou hôtels-restaurants), mais sont dispatchés dans plusieurs bâtiments. C’est une façon de redynamiser des bourgs menacés de désertification, de sauvegarder le patrimoine et de préserver l’environnement en reconvertissant le bâti existant plutôt que de construire du neuf.
